Cervical disc surgery
It is a type of treatment to resolve acute problems of the joints and cervical discs. The cervical disc is actually a type of cartilage that fills the space between the cervical vertebrae. In addition, it both allows the spinal column to move and prevents pressure from entering it. Inside these discs, there is an empty space that is filled with a gelatinous fluid. When moving, this fluid acts like a cushion and causes the vertebrae to move smoothly over each other. Due to various factors and high pressure on the cervical discs, this disc may crack and cause a cervical disc rupture. In such a situation, the gelatinous fluid moves out of the disc and causes pressure on the spinal cord. As a result of this pressure, the person feels severe pain when turning their neck, and unfortunately, this condition cannot be repaired over time. As a result, cervical disc surgery is required to improve this condition.
