Hip fracture

Hip fracture and prosthesis placement

An artificial hip joint is placed in place of the natural joint that has been damaged. The hip joint, also known as the hip joint, is a ball-and-socket joint, meaning that the head of the femur is like a ball or sphere that is placed inside a socket called the acetabulum, forming the hip or pelvis. A hip prosthesis is an imitation of this structure and consists of two main parts, the ball and the socket. Today, there are many different types of hip prostheses, and the orthopedic doctor selects the most appropriate type for the patient based on various factors such as the patient's age, bone quality, activity level, and other factors.
