The laboratory includes sections for:

Sampling

Reception

Hematology

Blood bank

Biochemistry

Serology

Microbiology

Hormonology

With a Sysmex KX-21N Automated Hematology Analyzer, this section performs hematology tests including complete blood count (CBC).

Blood and urine biochemistry section:

In this section, biochemistry tests, including glucose, urea, creatinine, triglyceride, calcium, phosphorus, and iron are performed via the Sellectra autoanalyzer.

Serology section:

The tests performed in this section assess the antigens of different diseases, including typhoid fever (Widal test), brucellosis (Wright antigen), rheumatic fever (RF antigen).
