The men’s surgery ward of Ayatollah Golpayegani Hospital has 19 beds and 7 rooms. In addition to two-bed rooms, there is a VIP room and an isolated room.

Patients who are admitted to this ward receive all general and specialized surgeries, including esophageal, gastric, small and large intestine, Whipple procedure, thoracic aneurysms, aneurysms of lower limbs, bladder, kidney, ureter and urinary tract, brain vascular, brain tumor, spinal tumors and vascular, vertebral column, pelvic, knee and limb, constructive (e.g. skull fracture), and plastic (jaw osteotomy) surgeries.

All patients receive pre- and post-operative training by a nurse and doctor, and post-operative follow-up is a priority in this ward. As a result, surgeries are performed by compliance to safety principles and without delay. In this ward, training on nutrition, care for the surgical site, and changing the bandage is offered. Foldable chairs are provided for the patients’ entourage, and training is offered to patients in the form of pamphlets.

This ward is equipped with medical facilities, including electroshock device, central oxygen system, portable suction device, pump, wavy mattress, mechanical adjustable bed, electrocardiography device, pulse oximeter, and portable full-parameter monitoring device
